Algeria defender, Ramy Bensebaini, has identified the Super Eagles of Nigeria as a top team in Africa.
He also said that Gernot Rohr’s men are composed of several good individual players, adding that Algeria’s task to overcome the three times African champions looks so difficult.
The Rennes star stated this ahead of Algeria’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, semi-final fixture against Nigeria on Sunday at the Cairo International Stadium.
The Desert Foxes head to the game after beating Ivory Coast 4-3 on penalties on Thursday, while Nigeria defeated South Africa 2-1 on Wednesday.
”We are in the semifinals and we do not think which opponent to face and which to avoid,” Bensebaini told Le Buteur.
“At this stage of the competition, all teams are formidable, especially when it comes to a top team like Nigeria who are having a great Africa Cup of Nations.
”It is also a team composed of several good individual players. Our task looks so difficult.”
