Despite seeing the club to one of its worst seasons in recent time, Enugu Rangers coach Salisu Yusuf has stated that he hopes to continue as Rangers International FC manager, although, the decision is not his to make.
Salisu told newsmen that he would love to continue but all the decisions for him to remain in the club lies with his employers.
“I need to hear from my employers definitely, I came here not on contract but to rescue the situation, I would continue to work, if my employers say I should return to Abuja, I will go back but if otherwise I will stay and finish the league because if you watch now, the team is developing game by game we are going to fight for the league.”
Rangers currently occupy the bottom of the league table although with four games in hand.
The Flying Antelopes has won just one match under Salisu who was deployed by the management on a ‘rescue mission’. The team on Sunday crashed out of the CAF Confederation Cup after a 1-1 draw against Mauritania club FC Nouadhibou.
